NovoCyte - Agilent (Optical Configuration 3000)

Offering main image The NovoCyte Flow Cytometer is a high-performance benchtop instrument designed for multiparametric analysis of monodisperse cell suspensions (0.2–50 μm). It enables the simultaneous evaluation of multiple single-cell properties, including surface and intracellular antigen expression, ROS production, DNA content, cell cycle, apoptosis, and cell proliferation. The system combines flexibility, sensitivity, and intuitive data acquisition and analysis through the NovoExpress software.

Online booking system details

The instrument is available to all University staff, with priority (but not exclusivity) for Department of Chemistry, Life Sciences and Environmental Sustainability (SCVSA) members. Access is permitted as part of scientific collaborations, agreements with public or private entities, research contracts, or as a fee-based service. Authorized users include RTD staff, PhD students, research fellows, grant holders, and permanent Department staff, who may operate the instrument only after completing training provided by Qualified Technical Staff and under the supervision of the Instrument Supervisor. Each user must supply their own consumables (tubes, pipettes, solvents, etc.). The minimum booking time is 60 minutes, and usage is subject to a fee schedule.
