LSSpectrometer™ II – LS Instruments (MALS/DLS)

The LSSpectrometer™ II is a light scattering instrument equipped with a goniometer for multi-angle light scattering (MALS) measurements of scattered intensity; operating over a wide angular range (20° to 150°), it provides high-precision characterization of nanoparticles, macromolecules, colloids, and polymers in dilute solution; it enables determination of radius of gyration (Rg) via static light scattering (SLS) and hydrodynamic radius (Rh) via dynamic light scattering (DLS); it is also equipped with a high-performance cross-correlation analyzer for depolarized dynamic light scattering (DDLS), providing information on particle anisotropy; separate measurement of dn/dc using a refractometer enables determination of weight-average molar mass (Mw) and interaction types (attractive/repulsive) via the second virial coefficient (A2).
