ITC Isothermal Titration Calorimeter MicroCal PEAQ

The MicroCal PEAQ-ITC Isothermal Titration Calorimeter is a high-sensitivity instrument used to measure the thermodynamics of molecular interactions. It directly quantifies the heat released or absorbed during a binding event, providing in a single experiment all key parameters: binding affinity (Kᴰ), stoichiometry (n), enthalpy (ΔH), and entropy (ΔS) — without the need for labeling or immobilization. This technique allows detailed characterization of chemical and biomolecular interactions, including those involving small molecules, proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids, lipids, metal ions, and carbohydrates. It supports structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies, enzyme kinetics, inhibition analyses, and the investigation of self-assembly processes and nanomaterial interactions.
