AF2000 Postnova – Asymmetric Flow Field-Flow Fractionation (AF4)
The AF2000 (Postnova Analytics) is an Asymmetric Flow Field-Flow Fractionation (AF4) system enabling separation and analysis of nanoparticles, macromolecules, or polymers based on hydrodynamic size; this stationary phase-free method preserves sample integrity with gentle separation in a thin channel; the system can be coupled with detectors (UV, MALS, DLS, RI) for highly precise online characterization (size, mass, conformation, absorbance, fluorescence), suitable for complex media or sensitive formulations; it also includes a preparative channel and fraction collector for producing purified fractions (~10 mg) at concentrations suitable for in vitro experiments (e.g., toxicity studies).Name
