Tangential Filtration Pilot

The ÄKTA flux (Cytiva) pilot system is a semi-automated tangential flow filtration (TFF) purification system used for diafiltration and concentration of nanoparticle suspensions using hollow-fiber membranes (ultrafiltration and microfiltration); once characterization (e.g., AF4) has determined the appropriate membrane cut-off, the system enables purification of volumes of several hundred mL at nanoparticle concentrations of a few percent.
