LASIMA

Lasers and Imaging . The LASIMA platform is equipped with various laser sources: The femtosecond laser is primarily intended for nonlinear scanning microscopy in transmission and reflection (harmonic generation, two-photon fluorescence, etc.). Picosecond lasers are used in techniques for characterizing the nonlinear optical properties of materials, particularly the Z-scan technique for measuring nonlinear absorption and refraction, and the Kerr-shutter technique, in addition, for the dynamic study of temporal response. Nanosecond pulses are primarily used for fluorescence decay measurements and surface structuring. Continuous wave (CW) lasers are used for the characterization of thermo-optical coefficients using the thermal lens technique. Type : joint "lasers and imaging" technical platform.
