They say that 80% of a product’s environmental impact is determined during its design phase, and that’s exactly why I chose to study Industrial Design Engineering. I’m passionate about sustainability, circular economy, and the role of materials in creating responsible products. From researching biobased polymers and mycelium at my university’s materials lab to co-founding Prunus Lab, a student initiative for circular design, I’m driven by the idea that better design can build a better future.
