 The EU GREEN Academic Retreat 2026\, hosted by the University of Extremadu
 ra in Badajoz\, will bring together academic staff from across the Allianc
 e to explore how universities can design and implement innovative joint in
 ternational programmes. Under the theme “Joint Futures: Innovating Inter
 national Programs through Virtualization\, AI and Languages\,” the two-d
 ay retreat will combine conceptual approaches with practical tools for str
 engthening international academic collaboration. The programme will focus 
 on three key dimensions: virtual and collaborative learning\, the responsi
 ble use of artificial intelligence in higher education\, and plurilingual 
 approaches including English-Medium Instruction (EMI). Through expert-led 
 sessions and hands-on workshops\, participants will explore the developmen
 t of joint academic programmes\, virtual and hybrid learning environments\
 , AI-supported teaching and learning\, and multilingual international educ
 ation. The retreat will culminate in collaborative workshops where partici
 pants will apply these approaches to the design of virtual joint modules a
